Notification Preferences

Prerequisites

Interacting with Equinix products over API requires:

  • Equinix portal account.
  • Product-specific create, modify and delete permissions. Contact your organization's primary administrator and request access permissions.

 

Notification Preferences

Notification Preferences let you choose what types of messages you want to receive. You can select alerts for important API updates, general news, or newsletters, so you only receive the info that's relevant to you.

To set notifications:

  1. Log in to Equinix Portal.
  1. From the global navigation menu, select Developer Settings > Notification Preferences to display preferences details.

Apps - New

  1. Verify current notifications.
 

For portal notification preferences visit User Settings

  1. Edit the notifications to specify their details.

You can specify the following notifications:

  • General Updates: Stay informed with announcements and important API-related information.
  • API Alerts: Receive critical notifications about operational issues, service impacts, maintenance, and deprecation notices.
  • API Newsletter: Get the latest updates on new features and the newest developments in our API products.
 

You can add up to 5 email addresses. Click Enter after each one to separate them.
To unsubscribe, remove the email address.
