Migration Guide

Introduction​

This guide helps you migrate from EMG Order Management to REST APIs. It provides instructions on transitioning your order management workflows and explains the APIs you can use in the migration process.

Deprecation​

We deprecated the API services related to the Order Management feature. While the feature may still work, it is no longer recommended for use and will not receive updates or bug fixes. Users are encouraged to migrate to REST API alternatives during this transition period.

Timelines:

  • Deprecation Start Date: October 1, 2024
  • End of Support Date: April 1, 2025
  • End of Life: October 1, 2025

Alternatives​

Due to decommissioning the Order Management, we recommend migrating to available REST API alternatives for the following EMG features: General (Orders, Lookup, and Attachments), Shipments, Work Visit, Smart Hands, Cross Connect, and Managed Services.
